ICICI Prudential Critical Illness Plans:

ICICI Prudential gives you the privilege of adding beneficial riders to your chosen policy and enjoy the benefits that are provided by these riders.  One such particular rider is the Critical Illness Benefit rider. 

These riders increase the benefits that you will receive under those respective situations.  You are needed to pay a reasonable premium for these riders.

The Critical Illness Benefit rider provides the following benefits,
Covers nine major critical illnesses, namely, organ transplantation, end stage kidney disease, cerebro-vascular disease, stroke, heart attack, heart valve replacement operation, major surgery of the aorta, bypass surgery and cancer.

The accelerated benefits are available in ICICI Save ‘n’ Protect and CashBak policies.  By the accelerated benefits, if the policyholder is diagnosed with any of the nine critical illnesses that are covered by this policy, he/she is eligible to receive the whole of the rider sum assured. 

When he receives the rider sum assured the riders and the policy are terminated, but the inferior part of the policy still continues.  He will still have to pay the premiums until the end of the policy term.

There are Standalone benefits provided in this plan.  These benefits are provided in Lifetime Super, Premier Life Gold, Lifetime Plus, Forever Life, and Group Term Plan. 

According to this benefit if the policyholder is diagnosed with any of the nine critical illnesses covered under this plan, he will receive the sum assured and then the rider is terminated.

By this rider benefit, you have the advantage of having your medical expenses taken care of at a time when you need it the most.
