This policy is an adaptable policy that gives one the option of having to pay the premiums only for a confined duration.

The ICICI Pru Elite Pension offers,
Payment of premiums only for a confined period of three years, after which one will be provided with life cover even though you are not paying premiums any more. 

You will also receive additional benefits like the top up amounts from the company at regular intervals which will help in building up your investment into a corpus amount.

After the completion of three years you are eligible to receive some units or points that will be designated for you.You will receive these points at every five year interval of the policy term, which will add on to your sum assured and will be given to you at the time of maturity.

There are eight types of funds available under this plan.  You can choose to invest your money under any one of these plans keeping in mind your investment goals and requirements. 

If you wish to shift your money from one plan to the other, you are permitted to do so for at least four times in a year free of cost.

The choice of receiving the pension from the policy between the age of fifty to eighty years lies with the individual.  You can opt for any age which is suitable to you.
