In the event of an early death during the policy term and you have invested your money in the Pure Pension option; your nominee will receive the fund value. 

If you have opted for the Pension with Life Cover, then your nominee will receive the fund value as well as the sum assured after reducing the mortality charges.  This amount will not be paid to your nominee during the year of your death.

If your death takes place after your retirement, the death benefit to be given will depend on the annuity that you have opted for.
